Welcome to The Yoga Center of Stuart. We hope you will join us in
the study and practice of the healing art of yoga.
It is my hope that you will find the practice of yoga as life-enhancing
and rewarding as I have. I have been a student of yoga for more than 14 years, and can attest to the value of regular
practice in helping me to add balance to my life in all aspects: mind, body and spirit. My passion has only grown
and deepened over the years.
The health benefits of yoga are well established. Yoga is
known to help reduce stress, increase flexibility, even joints not used in other forms of exercise. It tones muscles.
Yoga may be the only activity that massages all the internal glands and organs.
At the Center, we teach the principles and postures as laid out
in the teachings of renowned yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar, familiarly know as Iyengar Yoga. Each of our dedicated
and qualified instructors share the same level of enthusiasm for yoga, and are eager to share their knowledge with you.
